Mamta, Jayaram as doctors

The shooting of director K.K. Rajeev's Jayaram-Mamta starrer Njanum Ente Familyum, produced by G.P. Vijayakumar under the banner of Seven Arts, has commenced last week. According to latest reports, the film has Jayaram playing the role of a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon, while Mamta stars as his physician wife.

The film revolves around Dr. Dinanathan (Jayaram) and his family consisting of wife and two children. Dr. Dinanathan is a gifted surgeon who has patients thronging to consult him at his home and office. He believes in the social responsibility the job entails and is also a good family man. However, problems start to brew in his life after Sophia (Mythili), a patient, enters. Njanum Ente Familyum will be Jayaram’s first release in 2012.

Director Ranjith Planning for Summer In Bethlehem Sequel. Its almost confirmed Director Ranjith's next movie will be comedy flick with Jayaram. Earlier, there was a news that Sibi Malayil was interested in doing a sequel for the all-time classic 'Summer in Bethlehem' but due to superstar Suresh Gopi refusing to work in the movie, the project was dropped. But now, from recent reports Director Ranjith wants to do the sequel. With Jayaram and Dileep/Sureshgopi in the lead.
